Seemingly, the villain and his abetters recently stole the Summoner's Boots of Adroitness from its sacred resting place and are trying to fence it for a chipped cyan gemstone of legendary power.

Any adventurer keen on hunting down the villain and his gang will need to journey to the nearby Den of Fog, where a confrontation with its feared guardian, the Venerable Lunger is all but a grim certainty.
